This bait dog already had a terrible life and then he was thrown away like garbage.
His owners used him for bait for their dog fighting ring and then threw him away like trash. However, Rambo wasn’t going to go down without a fight. He survived and is fighting back for every inch of his life.
The Every Life Matters Animal Rescue in South Carolina discovered Rambo. Casey Lawrence, a board member for the rescue and a real estate agent, found Rambo while showing a property.
He was found in a wooded area, encircled by dead animal carcasses. He was freezing and going into shock but Casey came just in time to give him the help he needed.
Rambo was driven to Baxter Veterinary Clinic, where he was cleaned up and bandaged. With only being in the vets care for two days Rambo was already sitting up and shaking his tail around. He also started eating and seemed relaxed in his new environment.

WHAT HAPPENED TO PIT BULL PUPPY DOE
Unfortunately Rambo wasn’t in the clear just yet.
“His injuries suggest that he’s probably a bait dog,” said Dr. James
A bait dog is used as a sparring targets for fight dogs who are training. A bait dog will get tied up to a tree and have its mouth muzzled shut so they are not able to fight back. As a result, these dogs are traumatized and scared of humans.
“They’re not aggressive dogs and that’s why they’re used as bait dogs,” Doyle said, “because they’re not any good at fighting.”
Rambo was taken to Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency (CARE) for his operations.
